It seems that community-tended gardens are springing up around the city, and five more are set to join the ten already on the grow.
The City has approved expanding the present ten community gardens to fifteen, plus a community orchard. The Calgary Horticultural Society has all of the details on how to arrange for one in your community, various facts and helpsheets on the four ‘w’s (and the “how”), and have also provided Google maps to the locations of both the existing gardens and the five new ones (I’m not sure of the details on the orchard.)
